About Me

Background
I continue to enjoy a long and varied career in the media, events and business information industry and I’m lucky to have worked for some high profile and successful brands and businesses including Informa, RELX, EMAP/Ascential and Wilmington. I held a number of senior marketing and commercial leadership roles, most recently as a Managing Director at Wilmington PLC, where I was responsible for brands including Compliance Week and HSJ.
Experience
My experience covers a number of product formats, from huge events such as Mobile World Congress, to data and information products such as HSJ Intelligence. I have grown and managed training businesses, and I deliver training myself, but my main areas of expertise are product development, business strategy, events, subscriptions, and marketing..

Some of the sectors/markets that I’ve worked in and have a demonstrable understanding of include Telecoms, tech, financial services, legal, compliance, energy and renewable energy, life-sciences/pharmaceuticals, UK healthcare, local government, retail, construction, architecture, pet food (yes, really), publishing, events, data services, training and media.
